Brescia

The province of Brescia is one of the broadest in Lombardy. Brescia owns a rich artistic and cultural heritage. It is situated on Cidnéo Mount; as a matter of fact, it still keeps some remains of the ancient Roman Brixia. It was also a datum point of one of the most important schools of painting. Among the most famous painters we can quote Foppa, Romanico, Moretto and so on.

You can visit Valcamonica and Capo di Monte, the National Park of the rupestrian inscriptions and Adamello Park.

The Lombard shore of Garda Lake, of which Sirmione and Gardone Riviera are the most well-known places, is the most famous tourist area.
