The Vittoriale is a unique monumental unit of great suggestion . It includes besides the house itself, parks and gardens of important historical and environmental significance, a collection of personal objects as well as a museum on D’Annunzio.
- The Home of Gabriele D’Annunzio: His dwelling-place from 1921 until 1938, it was transformed and furnished by the Poet himself. A rare testimonial of a personage and era. Here is a collection of historical relics, precious objects and a library of about 33,000 volumes belonging to the Poet.
- The Ship Puglia: donated by the Italian Royal Navy to D’Annunzio in 1925 it is embedded in a promontory in the midst of the greenery with its prow pointing towards the lake. A very suggestive and unusual scenographic monument.
